saxon 80/400 Pioneer Refractor OTA
This short-tube refractor telescope has wide field views, thanks to its achromatic objective lens of 80mm and focal length of 400mm.
This scope is commonly used as a guide scope on bigger astronomy set ups. With the use of a correct image diagonal it also makes a superb terrestrial telescope when mounted on an alt-azimuth mount. The compact length of the telescope makes it convenient for it to be packed up and stored away while not in use, or in transit.
Fully Multi-Coated Objective Lens
This 80/400 Saxon OTA has an 80mm aperture size and a 400 mm focal length. This little scope is perfectly suited to terrestial viewing, occasional celestial moon viewing and low powered astronomical observation.
