The EQ6 extension tube extends the height of the EQ6 mount so it is easier for the observer to look into a long refractor.
The SWA-TRIEXTEQ6 is an extension tube for the NEQ6 Pro and AZ-EQ6 mounts, for use with long tube telescopes.
The extension tube allows freedom when manoeuvring the optical tube at positions directly overhead (zenith) where the back of the telescope may come in to contact with a tripod leg.
