NOTE: Sirius Optics recommends that any dew heater strap or heated dew shield be connected to a dual channel dew controller and not directly to 12V.
This allows the user to regulate the current and temperature of the dew heater strap or dew shield.
The recommended control unit is the Astrozap Dual Channel Dew Controller (Product No. 124474)
The W&W Astro flexible dew shield prevents dew appearance on the corrector plate. It’s made to be an easy fit on your telescope tube. The inside of the shield is covered with black felt fabric to improve contrast. The shield has a built-in 12V heater strap to provide more dew protection.
